I build backend systems that keep data moving — most recently a real-time Kafka pipeline syncing databases at Wafa Assurance.
I'm a Computer Science Engineering student at Polytech Grenoble INP-UGA, in the 2nd year of the engineering cycle. I'm drawn to backend work: during my internship at Wafa Assurance I built a real-time Change Data Capture pipeline that keeps client data in sync across PostgreSQL databases with Kafka, Debezium and Spring Boot.
Strong in Java and Python, with a solid grounding in algorithms, concurrent programming and compiler construction (JavaCC). I'm looking for a 4–5 month backend / software engineering internship from 13 April to end of August 2027, anywhere in Europe.

Change Data Capture pipeline built during my internship at Wafa Assurance: Debezium reads the PostgreSQL write-ahead log, Kafka carries every insert, update and delete, and JDBC sink connectors upsert them into CRM and accounting databases with different schemas — with no sync code in the application.
Plus an event-driven Spring Boot service with 4 isolated consumer groups, retries and a dead-letter topic, running on Docker Compose with GitHub Actions CI.
From-scratch Java game engine (no frameworks) on a custom MVCB architecture, running both a Pengo clone and Pac-Man from one generic core. Enemy behaviour is scripted in GAL, a custom DSL compiled by a JavaCC parser into finite state machines.
Built with a team of 6 — I owned the View package: frame loop, entity rendering, HUD/menu overlays, and the render-hook system.
Built a reinforcement learning environment simulating an autonomous patrol drone, applying RL concepts to autonomous navigation scenarios.
Custom calculator language parser built with JavaCC: a complete expression grammar supporting arithmetic operations, variables and operator precedence, with parse-tree visualisation and evaluation.
